Mane Kara-Yakoubian earned her M.A. and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University. She has trained at various sites, including The Downtown Psychology Clinic, Baycrest Hospital, Centre for Interpersonal Relationships, Community Head Injury Resource Services, and St. Michael’s Hospital, where she has provided both neuropsychological and psycho-diagnostic assessments, as well as therapy services.
Mane is dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming space for adults to cultivate curiosity, self-awareness, and meaningful growth. At The Willow Centre, her clinical work is supervised by Dr. Will Birman, C. Psych.
Mane’s doctoral research, funded by a $110,000 grant from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), explores judgment and decision-making. Her dissertation research focuses on how younger and older adults engage in information search when navigating moral dilemmas.
